My Kiddos!

Call me crazy... Call me obsessed... Call me what you like. My dogs are my world! I do not have kids, so they keep me occupied, and they keep me company. If you are a new blog reader, or if you don't know me personally, meet my children! If you already know me (and my dogs) enjoy a little diddy about each of them! (because you love them too)

Chloe is a Pembroke welsh corgi, she is 3 years old, and she is the light of her mom's life. Chloe is a spunky sporty chick, and even though she throws a little 'tude my way every now and then, I still love her tons!


Ripley is an English springer spaniel, and he is 2 years old. We adopted Ripley when we moved into our house. He is his mom's little boy, and even though he may be a little tubby, he is still my best friend! Ripley Always has a lot to say...to everyone. We thought he cried a lot when we first brought him home... but we soon learned that he is just a chatterbox!

I recently bought some snazzy studio lights, so naturally, my dogs were my models!



My friend Hannah came over and I was showing her my lights. She took the next two photos. It sure is strange to be on the other side of the lens!

Melissa and Sarah at Cascade Locks

I went to Cascade Locks with Sarah and my cousin Melissa for a quick portrait session. There is an awesome little island in the Columbia river right under to the Bridge of the Gods. The island had a staircase that went down into the river which we had a lot of fun with!

Sneek Peek: Sam & Matt,

Yesterday Steve and I shot Sam & Matt's wedding at the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden in Portland, Oregon. Their day was filled with a lot of love and laughter. I have really enjoyed getting to know both Sam & Matt, they are both so genuine and enjoyable to be around. Congratulations you two! I hope you have a BLAST in Hawaii!

Destination Wedding Photography: Oahu, Hawaii

For some reason, I have been procrastinating on this post. Steve and I had an AWESOME time in Hawaii shooting Jessica & Billy's wedding. They were Married at Makapuu beach, Oahu, Hawaii. The day was beautiful, the sky was blue, and Jessica and Billy are married! Congratulations, you are a gorgeous couple, and you have a bright future ahead of you!





























Their Reception was held in a restaurant called "Top of Waikiki" Similar to the Seattle, Space Needle, the restaurant rotated 360 degrees. For this last shot, I set my camera on a high tripod, and took a 60 second exposure.

Givens Family Portraits

Yesterday I met up with the Givens Family at Edgefield Mcmenamins, in Troutdale, Oregon for their family shoot. We had our first Shoot a week earlier at my house, where we did a few shots of their handsome little newborn. We then met up after the rain went away for our second try. Their boys are so adorable!! Jeff and Shannon, You have a beautiful family. Congrats on your new addition.

Here are a few of Melissa's senior portraits from our session on Monday at Edgefield, Mcmenamins. It is crazy to see how much Melissa has grown up in the last couple years!


I took this one at my house with my "one light" setup. I amhaving so much fun playing around with my new studio lights, and I love the contrasty look of just using one light!

Judee & Brad's Wedding

On July 30th, Steve and I shot Judee and Brad's wedding (with Kristina as our second shooter) at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City, Oregon. They were married in Abigail's Garden which is a stunning outdoor venue. Judee was a GORGEOUS bride and brad was looking pretty spiffy in his penguin suit. Despite the 105 degree day, we had so much fun! I hope you two are having fun on your honeymoon! Congratulations!
